Colt Match Target MT6400R

For the last couple of months, I’ve been in the market for a MT6400R (ban state version of a SP6940). I was looking at one on the EE on another forum, but my wife had already ordered one from my local dealer as my Christmas gift. AWESOME wife!!!
My question is: do the new production MT6400/6400R’s come with the new Rogers stock (pinned for us ban-stater’s), or do they come with the traditional pinned M4 stock?
I won’t be able to pick mine up until next week, but was hoping someone might know offhand which stock is now being used.

Well it could be one or the other (even though new guns come with the Rogers Stock). This gun does not sell all that well so my guess is that the distrib. that your FFL ordered it from has old inventory. So the odds of you getting the M4 Stock is pretty high I think.

I actually prefer the M4 type stock, and hoping they haven’t changed over the MT line to the Rogers stock.

Glad to hear your wife is ordering guns for you. You can’t go wrong with an MT6400. I have one that I “converted” (I do not live in a ban state) and I couldn’t be happier. My wife won’t order guns for me, so I have to do it for myself.

Yes, sir, she is pretty damn awesome! She’s a Jersey girl, but I trained her to like firearms. She’s a pretty good shot too!

I have a MT6400C already, and I liked it so much I wanted the 6400R. Looking forward to picking it up next week.

FWIW, I picked up the rifle yesterday. It has the standard(pinned) M4 stock.

I’m looking forward to getting it out to the range. A couple of quick and dirty cell phone pics attached.
