Looking to buy a used COLT M4 Upper. THe seller is not sure if it is a factory built COLT. The badging is as follows

Upper: C with KEYHOLE, M4 above gas port, T marks

Barrel: C 1/7 5.56 NATO, side sling swivel and bayo lug.

FSB: F MARK

FH: PINNED (looks like a phantom)

BCG: C on bolt carrier, and C on Bolt.

Is there any other way to verify aside from the badging if this was a factory COLT.

Not sure if this is a 6921.

Everything you have described sounds like Colt to me.

Sounds like Colt to me, too.

The only thing non-Colt about what you described is the pinned FH. Sounds like a 6721 take-off with an aftermarket FH pinned to make the OAL legal.

I’d snatch it up if I was in the market.
