I just put my Colt carry handle back on one of my AR’s. It has on the handle, right beside the adjustment dial “A-7”, what does that nomenclature stand for?

I believe that the “A” is Ancho Harvey aluminum and the number is irrelevant. I have seen them with a variety of numbers.
