Colt and LMT

I have a Smith and Wesson 15t already. I plan on atleast getting one more AR before the next election just in case. I have a question? What is the deal with Colt’s pin sizes. Excuse me if I sound stupid I am very new to the AR platform. I plan on buying a Colt 6920 or a complete LMT rifle like C4TGrant sells. I have heard these are the best rifles to buy. I am just wondering why Colt uses different sizes than other companys and if this will be a problem. Thanks for the help.

Colt uses larger trigger and hammer pins. (which also means Colt particular hammer, trigger and disconnectors). This isn’t a problem and parts are readily available for these rifles. Even dozens of MATCH triggers are available if that floats your boat.

No problem with Colt’s larger diameter hammer and trigger pins, lots of makers sells them like Bushmaster, RRA, etc, and are readily available.

I’ve got both Colt and LMT and they’re both very reliable carbines, I’m very satisfied with both of them.
