I’ve bought from Botach in the past and they’re good to go.
Great price. Botach has a hit and miss reputation at best. I’ve never ordered them because of that.
Hit and miss though i know some who swear by them. Personal experience though. Ordered once. Thought everything was in stock but get email that it not and far off eta. Email to cancel and got prompt resonse they would do so no charge thanks for your time money back on my card the next day. So at least their cs from that one order was good. Better than many others. Will caveat that i have never ordered from them since, better prices elsewhere for what i want.
Ive had nothing but good experiences with Botach, never bought a firearm from them, let alone NFA.
I’m pretty sure that those are LEO department purchase only–notice the price on the full auto ones.
The internet is a double edge sword; based on the amount of negative reviews or experiences, I won’t ever shop there.

Who’s going to step up and make a purchase? I’d buy one but I already have one.
While that is a great price and I’ve had good luck with Botach personally, I would not trust them for an NFA transfer. No way, no how.
I bought one. I paid for a Knights sbr from Ayan at boltcarrier.com back in June of last year and it still hasn’t even showed up at my ffl yet, so I figure botach can’t be much worse than that…

Uhm, ya so you may want to contact him, no way a form 3 takes that long and Knights isn’t making mod 1 sbr/carbines anymore, in fact they are on to mod 2.
like I said, I paid for it in June 2014 back when they were making mod 1s. all he keeps telling me is that it should be shipping soon…
You should know pretty early in the overall process if something seems amiss. Please keep us informed.

Assuming that you paid with a credit card, they’re going to get hit for approximately 1% of the charge for the purchase and refund which equates to about $17 for their mistake. Of course they might “accidentally” go through with the transaction.
the charge is pending currently on my credit card. it makes me feel better knowing they’ll get hit with some kind of fee for this crap at least
