Is it just me or does there seem to be more of these available on the market? I remember not long ago everyone had them on ‘order’, Also do all the 6920’s come with FA bolt carriers?
They should come with an M16 carrier, unless some unscrupulous dealer has removed it to sell it back to you on the side.
As to “more on the market”, I don’t know. From the prices listed on gunsamerica.com I’d say there must be since they are back down to around $1300 after hovering around $1500+ for awhile. That would seem to indicate to me that there must be more supply to meet the demand. Of course, I saw one at last weekend’s gunshow that was $1700, but that guy was clearly smoking something.
I have recetly seen them for $1,199 and $1,229. Prices have come down.
At last weeks Fort Worth gunshow there were at least 15 6920s for sale, all between $1175-1250. It was suprising to see that many and for those prices.
I have some coming next week as well.

This may be a stupid question but are they LE only or available to civilians?

They are available to Civilians who live in the “FREE” America.
I ask because I found a place that was selling them for $1099 but only to LEO. I understood they were available to all but wanted to be sure. I guess its some rule they have about selling to nonLEO or what. I was kind of pissed especially for such a good price.

Some dealers are strange like that.
If you can get one it is a great general purpose AR15.
FWIW I saw tons of them when I was back home in TX.
They where going for around $1200.
I imagine that many of the LE agencies that were buying up a bunch of them are now all equipped. We’re seeing 6520s, 6721s and 6920s available pretty frequently. Yes all current 6920s have M16 carriers.
