Dang that is high for a 6940.
Saw two last night for $1550. They’ve dropped pretty quick. Colt must be really getting guns out the door.
These are no longer available for $1300. 
A local shop I was at last week had 6920’s for $1799 and 6940’s for $2199 cash and carry, credit cards add 3%. I bought my 6920 there a couple of years ago for a lot less. 
Give it a few months as it looks like Colt and a couple others are catching up and dealers will be up to their eyeballs in black rifles and they’ll be on sale!

Someone on the same board is selling NIB 6920s for $1320 shipped. This time he is out of state, so I don’t have to pay tax. I grabbed one. 
That would be Jim Wright with Tactical Weapons USA, I have spoken with him several times & was waiting for him to get this latest batch in when I found the deal at OTBF. He seemed like a good guy to deal with as well. Good find!
I’m curious. Do the 6920’s always come with TWO 20rd mags? I got one a while agao and it only came with ONE 20rd mag.

hmm, I bought mine in March from a local dealer (for $1315!) and it came with two 20rd mags. I see at OTB the pic shows a 30rd mag shipped with it…?
Mine also came with 2 20rd magazines.

Yes Jim Wright does have the 6920’s for sale at a good price also.Its good to see SOME people are now selling these at a lower price.Just remember the people who are still trying to sell these at $1600(or more) and KNOW they should lower their price but are not doing it.
I own four 6920’s. Bought my first one in 2004 to celibate the end of the AWB. This one came with two 30 rd magazines.
I bought two in 2006 came with two 20 rd mags. My last one bought in Jan of 09 came with two 20 rd mags.
If you bought a NIB 6920 with only one magazine, I’d strongly suggest that someone along the way lifted one mag from the box!
