AR6821 in .300 BLK
AR6821MP-R
LE6920-OEM1 FSB
LE6929-OEM2 LoPro Gas Block

  • Both “OEM” MSRP $793

If I could snag a 6821 upper I may play with the .300 BLK this year.

Edit… just noticed all the new upper only options, definitely has my mind wandering. I like the option of getting then sans rear sight and hand guard.

I like the 6920 MPATAC* camo job. I know, I’m a sucker for shiny things! Anyone know what stock that is? I’m guessing magpul but I’m not familiar with that design, probably because I have not been shopping around for one lately.

EDIT - Looks like a Magpul ACS-L stock.

Those OEM models are very interesting… Looks like a cost effective get the parts you want.

That is awesome. With a $793 MSRP, you’ll probably be able to find them around $600. Sign me up!

Hopefully Grant will be stocking these.

Like the MSRP on the 9 mm carbine. Seems like the only times I’ve come across a Colt 9 mm carbine, they’ve been in the $1000+ range.

Love the concept behind the OEM versions. But still no mid-length gas… Oh well.

I like the OEM concept as well. But they need to make a mid-length gas system of the OEM2.

I like that low profile gas block on OEM 2. A factory made equivalent of a chopped FSB is really appealing to me on this application.

Progress is progress. If the new stuff sells, then the foundation for more cool stuff (mid-length) may be laid.

Thanks for posting

The only colt Middy is owned by the Knight family, call them up see if he’s willing to part with it…

Really tho a Middy from colt I would buy in a heartbeat, I’m not gonna hold my breath tho.

Till that day a BCM is never a bad alternative (in fact front runner) when it comes to Middies.

And a 9mm Commander. Had one in college and sold it and now another will be had.

No 9mm Rail Gun [emoji35]

Dang.

Hmmmm I think I see a OEM2 and c4 rail in my future.

Looks like they Disco’d the 6700 and 6700c?

great call, regarding the OEM models! That lo pro gas block looks badass! Id like to see Colt include their 6 position receiver extension (I didn’t know they made one, but its on SAW’s website as a Colt mk18 receiver extension) with some of their carbines. Collapsed is too short and then there is a good 2.5 inches until the next notch. I hate destroying the beautiful stake job on a factory colt just to put an inferior receiver extension on there. Seems like a small thing, but I just don’t like the 4 position RE.

Looks like Colt took a page from BCM with the OEM models. I like it though. For a street price in the ~$600 range slapping a stock, handguard, and rear set of irons will make a affordable package and I will be in line for a couple or three, lol. Wonder if the POS AR builders are shitting their pants yet?

I was sad looking at offerings, and still no cobra, diamondback, or Python…can blame me for hoping they were gonna be there.
