This .45 ACP Colt 1991 was customized by Joe Bonar at Novak’s in 1999. It ended up only being used as a test bed for different light and rail systems. Total round count is 2000 rounds. This low round count pistol is in great condition.
It initially was customized with the Novak’s FBI spec pistol package and used a Barsto stainless steel match barrel and bushing, Novak 3 dot night sights, Ed Brown grip safety and ambi thumb safety, Videcki long trigger, predominately Wilson fire control and small parts, front strap checkering, carry bevel, flat mainspring housing, front grasping grooves, Birdsong Black-T finish. It comes with VZ Operator grips.
It is currently wearing a Dawson rail and comes with a Sure Fire X200 light.
In 2006, the pistol received Chuck Rogers “major reliability package” in preparation for daily use the next year, but that did not occur and the pistol went back into the safe.
A Safariland SLS 6004/6280 holster on a UBL, as well as a Kramer IWB holster are included, along with four Wilson 7 rd mags.
