Coated Charging Handles

I noticed that POF has their charging handles NP3 coated. I see also that FailZeros upper kit includes an EXO coated charge handle. Is there any benefit, theoretical or otherwise in coating the CH?

i wouldnt pay extra for it, but i do spray my charging handles with dry teflon moly and it seams to work out ok.

Probably makes charging the weapon FEEL a little smoother. I doubt it has any practical benefit.
