I just put one in. Went together fine. I don’t know that they are any better or worse than the doublestar kit I put in another lower.
I helped a friend build using one, and he bought another for back-up. Both disconnectors are identical to the one in an LPK I got from from WOA, and 2 from MI. I’ve posted pics elsewhere, and they look like very rough castings, but function fine. I have discos from G&R and Colt which look superior. The trigger from G&R is superior.
First build was a CMMG lower and CMMG LPK. Smooth.
my first and only lower so far is a CMMG w/ CMMG LPK and its been great! trigger wasnt bad from the factory but is great now that i installed JP 3.5lb tactical fire controll group springs.
rest of the LPK has been great. im not a real LPK snob though…
FWIW, the fit and finish of the parts was very nice.
The only CMMG LPK I had came with an out-of-spec hammer and the FCG didn’t line up with an in-spec lower. That was several years ago though.
I have several guys who have used them since and have had no issues. I prefer to use Stag/ CMT for my builds.
