A recently purchased Stainless .22 CMMG Conversion Unit
has damaged my receiver. After I returned from the range, I had to
forcefully yank the unit out of my AR 15. After removing the unit
I noticed that the unit had cut a 1 1/4 inch slice on the interior left
side of the upper receiver extending rearward from the chamber.
When I e-mailed Tech at CMMG, he told me that this is normal!
Is this normal? Do other members have slices (not rubs) on their
receivers?
Apparently no, just yours.
Dam you hit this place with your cry too
I visit about four other forums and you have posted about this
in all of them and several threads in each
You should try to take care of the problem in private with
the company before you cry to everyone. If the company
turns away and tells you to spit in the wind then advertise the problem to the world of guns.
dude. you already have another thread about this. quit trolling.
Why not send it back to CMMG for review? You emailed them so give them a chance to make it right and fix the problem.
CMMG said they would do something but he just wont stop
the crying.
I dont know if its wrong to post this but here it is
http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=3&f=15&t=529176
and the picture of his rubbed inside purple upper

He also posted about this (https://www.m4carbine.net/showpost.php?p=927275&postcount=158) prior to his deciding that he deserved his own thread, and decided to start a slap-fight in THAT thread over other members not having ESP.
Off to a rollicking good start, this one is.
