I found this AR at a local store but can’t find ANY info on it. CMMG’s website doesn’t even list it. They said it was 16" but looked shorter then the other 16’s it was next to. He said it was free floating with a gas piston, a 1/9 twist, Quad rail, and had wasp on it. It looked nice…the tactical look I’m looking for. the question is…Is it a good gun? They were asking $1220…What is retail?I don’t want to overpay. Is that a good price?

Wow…He has it relisted. I wonder if he will get his reserve.
up to $1550 and reserve still never met… give me a break
My Noveske carbine that I built cost about 200.00 more than that thing. Which would you rather have??? These frickin’ gun prices are insane.
What is a reasonable price to pay for the CMMG in the pic?
I cannot provide an honest opinion as that gun doesn’t do anything for me and I know nothing about it.
I have one and really like it. I have shot about 400 rounds without a hickup and it is a pleasure to shoot, very easy to clean. I paid about $1500 for it out here in CA. I have a free floating quad rail ordered for it from Midwest industries for $170 (called the 20p).
Didn’t it come with a quad rail? Did you switch it out? $1500 seems a little steep did they give you a msrp?
Listen, in California, if you find yourself lucky enough to see an AR for sale, you say “How much?”, then you pay the money and consider yourself lucky. No it didn’t come with a quad rail. If you go to the Midwest Industries web site they have the CMMG piston uppers on sale with a quad rale for $999. But, guess what, they are sold out. Most people have no idea of the coming storm that Californians have already experienced. Grab it if you can and don’t look back.
$1400 for a Noveske gas piston? That’s a good deal.
a one of a kind noveske piston
A “one of a kind” gun for supposed serious use sends up a red flag for me…
