Civilian ownership of AN/PEQ-2

I haven’t found any definitive information on whether or not it is legal to own an AN/PEQ-2. Anybody know the real deal on this?

If I understand correctly the initial purchase is restricted due to FDA and or OSHA regulations and not a law per se. I believe that Grant (GandRtactical) may be able to provide some insight to this question.

I have one and I ain’t giving it up. Same with my AN/PVS-14. :stuck_out_tongue:
