Chrome-lined vs. Chrome-Molly Accuracy

Is there an appreciable difference between the accuracy of barrels that are chrome-lined versus chrome-moly-lined? Many manufacturers offering the latter claim that chrome reduces accuracy.

Military rifles need the corrosion resistance of chrome, but do they pay a penalty in accuracy for this protection?

Any experience with this?
.

It all depends on the manufacturer of the barrel.
I have chrome moly barrels that are certainly no more accurate than my chrome lined barrel rifles and I have chrome moly barrelled rifles that are way more accurate than my chrome lined barrel rifles.

Certainy not when I am shooting … chrome or no chrome I get the same non-impressive groups.

That’s a software problem…
