Trying to choose between 9" rail systems with >1.5"ID.
I’m looking to build a 10.8" SBR that will have an OPS 14th or M4-S on it, but I’m wondering if I’m limited to the PRI GenIII Carbon Fibre rail and the JP/VTAC rail.
Cost is a bit of an issue, but those two are pretty close in price with added rails.
I’m going to be running an AFG on the bottom, on top an X300 and DD Front sight behind it.
I know that the Daniel Defense m4 rail is 1.45, which has the most ID compared to the other DD rails.
I don’t have the measurements on the MK18 RIS II, but then you did mention budget and they are not cheap.
The RIS-II is narrower - look up Grant from G&R’s post on his first Mk18 LMT build with that RIS-II - it’s much narrower. The M4 FF rail has the largest ID, but it wont work with the 1.5" OPS cans.
I have the funds if necessary, but it’s not like E4’s make bank - I’ll pony up the cash - buy once…

Yea, I forgot about the RIS II rail front that closes inward on the end.
The buy once… method saves a ton of aggravation in the long run.
