Saw this floating around Facebook and I can imagine this is what most of the middle of the road sheeple that don’t have a dog in this fight think.
You are all gun nuts in some way, you have empowered a tool, a worthless item without an operator, to make you feel stronger or to fuel your agendas. For or against, you are all gun nuts. You have made this poor national tragedy about a piece of steel more then about individual blame. You have given a power to iron and plastic and wood. You the media, you the NRA, you the politicians who dream of re-election, you the staunch conservative who yells 2nd amendment and you the staunch liberal who yells it needs updated. What in the hell is a gun? Did a fork make me fat? Did a car give you a DUI or maybe it was the beers fault? Definitely is the governments fault why you cant get a job, nothing to do with no education. When did we as a people stop personal responsibility and grasp madly for a scape goat? We have slipped into a dark time in our society where we allow OUR nation to interpret our constitution any way they want and the more we alter those documents that made us a nation the more we slip into a world of why we needed that constitution in the first place. Look, the world is a shitty place, theres a lot of bad and evil people. Theres moms who kill their own children, theres men who have raped young boys and girls, people who rob and steal and kill over a few dollars. This happens every second of every day. We stab each other, fight each other, hook each other on drugs, treat each other different because of ones sexual preference, or the color of our skin. We are assholes. If anyone believes that banning a gun because its stock can collapse, or it has a pistol grip or a 30 round mag will stop us from killing each other or make a major impact in gun related crime you are a bigger asshole. Want to stop violent crime? Then you need to remove every last person from this earth. As long as we have 2 hands we will figure out a way to kill each other. We’ve done it for thousands of years its just we figured a way for our sticks and stones to travel at 1500 fps now.
Stick to the facts and logic when dealing with the sheeple. We don’t want to look like the madman on CNN the other night.
-The places with the highest crime rate also have the highest murder/gunvoilence/violent crime rates, ala, Chicago, LA, NY, D.C. etc.
-Would you rather have a gun in your hand or a cop on the phone when someone breaks in your house in the middle of the night?
