Chokes and Slugs?

Hey Guys,

How “tight” a choke can I fire a Federal 1 oz tactical slug through?.. Gun has an IC screw in choke in place; can I buy one that is more open that will allow it to pass or does it need to be a slug barrel or cylinder bore?

IC / Mod screw in chokes will work fine with 1 OZ slugs…

I shoot slugs, lots of them, through the IC choke on my FNH.

Up to “Full” is fine with foster slugs, however, optimal performance will come with IC-MOD.
