Choices..................

Ok…
So your looking to update some of your equipment. ARs to be specific.

So many options…
One can get a Colt 6920 for around 1250 to 1400 dollars for a complete rifle with the extras in the box.

Then there’s Noveske.
You can buy a N4 basic for around $1400. Based on MSRP on JNs website.

But… Say you have a complete lower assembly that is of excellant quality.
IE: LMT

You can purchase an N4 basic upper assembly for $895.

The combination of LMT lower assembly and N4 basic upper assembly is unquestionable when is comes to quality…

So now…

Would you spend the cash on the Colt 6920 or purchase the N4 basic upper to mount on the existing lower.

FYI… this is for a working gun, not some safe queen that will see 100 rounds a year and spend it’s time in a humidity controlled environment.
This is for a gun that will spend time in all sorts of weather at all temps in hostile environments.

I vote Noveske…has about the toughest barrel you will find on an AR…and very good accuracy as well.

i own a colt 6920, and i plan to buy an lmt lower and a noveske upper so you know where i stand.

edit: i’m not getting rid of the colt

…one of each would be best…
Honestly though, I’ve decided on exactly the same setup…

Either will serve you well.

For me I probably won’t be buying any more 16" guns that aren’t middys.

Just to muddy the water a little - you might be able to beat the cost of the N4 upper by buying a 6920 upper. Not too long ago I saw a new one priced at $750 (yes, that is low).
