Setting up a patrol rifle and have one option I am looking at (already have a light mount ready):
- 16" LMT w/ DD 7.0 M4 rail, Aimpoint ML3 w/ LaRue Std. aimpoint mount, LaRue BUIS, LMT BCG
The lower will be LMT
Decision made LMT
Go with a dedicated rail system if you want to mount stuff on rails.
The “add-on” rails are not nearly as sturdy as a DD or LaRue rail.
I have 16" LMT uppers and Daniel Defense 7.0 rails in stock if you need an upper put together.
AR15barrels…thanks for the offer and the advice, I am going with the LMT build with the DD rail & all the other items.
