Shellenberger has been breaking some great info lately, almost a return of the legit investigative journalist. He appears to have broken open what we all knew, not only did it comes from the lab, our gubment knew it all along and hid from the public. The Q is, who made that decision and why? I tend to think Trump and closest advisors not aware, but I could be wrong:
The lab created virus was relocated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill level 3 Research Lab to Wu Han BECAUSE THEY/FAUCI & FRIENDS KNEW IT WOULD LEAK/ESCAPE.
Shit, an “update” saying maybe it came from Wuhan? LOL even an idiot knows where it came from. I still think it was an accident due to typical poor Chinese QA/QC and then when they realized they were about to eat the shit sandwich by themselves it was allowed to spread internationally. “If I have to suffer so do you”. I think they know enough to know, but also know enough to not come full disclosure yet. Maybe in 20 years.
But honestly, WE failed to protect ourselves. We did the same thing with Ebola when Obama was president and simply got lucky. Trump made noise about stopping international travel, but then folded under the pushback. We should have adopted policies nearly identical to Japan, they were willing to postpone and then have a “athletes only” Olympics, we were unwilling to make similar sacrifices and we sacrificed people instead. Thousands of people, mostly elderly died prematurely, people lost businesses they had been building for decades, entire business models were changed, a generation missed a complete year of education and government telling you how to live your life made a major encroachment.
I’m glad it didn’t happen under Hillary, I don’t think we can even imagine the disaster levels, but Trump could have done much more but in the end lacked the backbone and proved to be “mostly talk.”

I always felt China was much too backward to handle this kind of research without mucking it up.
Obviously the virus left the Lab with Lab Workers. By the time someone noticed a problem, the problem became that the virus was uncontainable and spreading rapidly.
Here’s what some folks missed at the time.
Chinese infrastructure was falling apart. The prominate being a damn that was collapsing.
The had a Swine virus that was killing pigs all over China, pork is 30% of thye protien for China.
The Chinese were facing economic collapse from Trump’s pressures on their economy.
Faced with the eminate demise of all controls on the Chinese Government, the Chinese decided to export the virus in order to bring down the economic tempo and give them some breathing room. It also insured that Western Technology would find a cure.
So the Chinese Government put infected folks on flights all over the World to infect as many as possible along the way. Trump was of course jeered by the Left when he tried to stop flight from China from entering the United States.
So we got the Bug.
It was biological and economic warfare due to China’s incompetance with Bio Hazard Materials.
Looking at this as anything but warfare is Lunacy.
This doesn’t seem as complicated as some make it to be.

Fauci had been funding gain of function research in China.

Wuhan lab workers became infected due to poor lab practices. The lab workers unknowingly spread it to others.

When Chinese authorities became aware of the seriousness of the outbreak and lab origin, they covered up their responsibility. Fauci did the same with his bs about animal to human origins, and denying funding gain of function research.

This is old news to those who have been following along as you know. Maybe a few nuances to debate there, but good enough. Only Q that really matters is why forces in the US gubment on high did everything they could to suppress and deny that, and attack anyone who claimed otherwise. The vid in the OP does a good job of that issue. Did Trump know or did those with TDS keep that part from him as part of their mission to undermine him?
When Brandon took over, what did he know and when? I have no doubts he was briefed at some point that most evidence pointed the lab as the source.
I have no doubts at all plausible deniability will be in full effect here and not a one will suffer any serious consequences to any of that, but exposure of the facts as to who knew what, where, why would go a long way.
I also suspect the Dems know if say Desantis (who would not doubt appoint Paul to something high up and let him loose) was to get into the WH, he’d not let it go the Chinese dropped a viral WMD on the world that killed millions, and all we did was suppress that fact.
I spent that Christmas with my Son, the Christmas when the News was breaking. I however had been tracking this since the first week of Novemeber when the News was coming out of Australia and Tiawan. We tracked it together over the Holidays like it was a game.
Putting it together was not difficult, you could watch the news and litlerally track the World wide infections start to happen every News Update.
I’m always amazed that when you mention this and people look at you like you just grew a set of horns. How could this virus, that is spread by human vectors end up spreading around the World? Because that’s exactly what China wanted to happen.
I would bet you dollars to donuts that the Chinese sent infected people all over the World to spread the virus, there simply isn’t another logical explanation.
It. Was. NOT. An. Accident.
Possible, but it was going to happen regardless, hence every flue season, etc. Virtually every nasty virus comes from that one country. What they knew and when, we will never know, but there’s no doubt at all had they alerted the world soon as they knew, we’d have had better outcomes.
They may have hoped they could sqush it hard and fast before it was able to get out of the area without the rest of the world knowing, or they did in fact intentionally allow people to travel to spread it before admitting they had a problem. The latter should be viewed an Act Of War and knowing the US population would demand some sort of real response, the gubment did all they could to suppress the source not wanting to go direct action with China due too much $ involved.
I don’t know the answer to that one, and I doubt we ever will as to CCP intentions as it developed. Note the huge problems they were having right at that time with Hong Kong were “fixed” by that virus. Would the CCP be willing to chance intentional release to fix their Hong Kong problems?
Will I know that is a heck of a leap to make, but really, how much international travel does the average Chinese do?
I would love to lay out the flight travel plan for every Chinaman leaving China, but there’s no way I could lay all that out. The odd thing is the people who could answer that question certainly aren’t going to.
Because they don’t want you to know.
The Chinese were under a lot of pressures inside and outside China. Had the World known, all travel would have been halted and for good reasons. China would have melted internally.
Too much infrastucture and economic pressures were there for China to survive had they not released it.
The average Chinese doesn’t travel, but there are thousands of westerners in and out of China every day. I worked in tech for a long time…We’d send 200-500 engineers and support staff to the factories over there for every build cycle. All those people entered China, worked closely with Chinese factory workers for 14-18 hours a day, stayed at Chinese hotels, etc, then flew home to San Francisco or Seattle/Tacoma. Guess where the first cases started showing up in the US…Washington State.
So yeah, a bug could easily travel out of China in very short order.

I keep seeing that photo of the lab with signage in English along with some comment along the lines of “Omg! English signage! ThE cOnSpIrAcY iS tRuE!!!”. Having actually been to China, I can tell you that English signage is fairly common, especially in the mega-cities and places where there are a lot of foreigners…
Well, look in to it, because Chinese were leaving in droves at the time.
Some I thought were rich and trying to get as far away from Covid as possible, but others in large numbers were exiting China.
It first started in Europe in Italy I beleieve, why were Chinese flying to Italy?
