Check out this BCG.

I knew Legalizing Marijuana would lead to extreme retardation… :stuck_out_tongue:

In a world where everybody seemingly wants to use the heaviest buffer they can reliably run along with a full auto carrier …Why is a light mass bcm now desirable?

And yes… That thing looks demented.

Dimpled lowers on the horizon…heard it first here.

That low mass carrier with designed by Spike’s specifically for their 3-gun rifles, and nothing else. They were trying a different approach than the one that JP Enterprises was following.

This is for competition rifles.

Isn’t that the BCG that spikes is advertising for their compressor rifle?

I believe you are correct.

But where is the advantage? if heavy mass things like h2 buffers and full auto carriers “dampen felt recoil” and slow cycle rate, than wouldn’t using low mass componants allow the bcg to be tossed around too violently/quikly creating a weapn that recoils violently and cycles fast enough to induce malfunctions? What about bolt bounce?

When you enter the competition gun realm. No amount of nonsense is too much.

That thing does not look structurally sound…

You are 100% correct on that sir.

I think the tight satin shirts cut off blood flow to their brains. :stuck_out_tongue:

Or these companies know if they modify an existing part and put nice wording behind it people who don’t know any better will buy it.

As my five year old would say, “No thank you.”

I saw 3 of those on a prize table at a big 3gun match last summer so the seller is incorrect. There is some “out” in the public. IIRC the JP LMOS carrier is still lighter.

This BCG market is completely insane. Watching the prices mediocre BCGs are brining is gut wrenching…

Over 300 bucks for BCGs I wouldn’t even use in a gun.

Funny that when making a, ‘light weight’ BCG they started with an auto carrier…

Lower market is just as crazy…http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=326265353

There’s some nut with a RRA BCG with a start price of over $1000.

Colts are bringing around $400, and this goober wants $1100 and change for a RRA?

I like how he says they may never be released, and he has never seen another one. I haven’t either. Tell you anything? LOL!

It looks like the baffle in my '71 Bonneville exhaust pipe.
