I am thinking about getting some ACU gear from GrayGhostOutLet and want dye it earth tone or OD green. How close can I get to a Brown or Dark Green using Rit Dye?

read the instructions and press on

bear in mind, the pattern will likely remain visible albeit darkened

I’d try a sample close to the color you’re working with and experiment using it as a test bed, remember the mixtures(s) and do the whole lot after you’re happy.
