I’ve learned so much on here I thought I’d contribute.
Here is how it meters.
Lee disk .43 = 5.3gr
Lee disk .46 = 5.9gr
Looking at my chart it meters closely to accurate #2 and titegroup.
There’s not much data out there for this powder so hopefully this approximate powder chart info will help some of you guys. I know I’ve been helped by many here.
Rich-Thanks for the info! Unless more HS-6 shows up, I’ll probably be into the CFE Pistol I bought by summer’s end.
No Problem. With the only data source right now being from Hodgdon maybe we could just post some of our own data.
I’m trying 5.9gr of it with a 230gr Berry’s plated. CCI-300 O.A.L 1.250 I know the book shows a lower O.A.L. for .45 but this seemed to work well in mine when I had Hodgdon Universal.
Sucks not being able to find the powder you like. Now I have to buy what’s on the counter and create loads for each new powder I buy. Can we blame the Neck-Beards on this shortage too?
