Any enthusiasts have any thoughts of ceramic coating the essential parts of a AR instead of chrome plating. thanks for your thoughts.
Why? How is this an improvement over the original?
There is a thread in here somewhere if I remember right about a new fangled AR15 rifle that does not need cleaning etc… It uses ceramic coatings I believe. See if you can find the thread that discusses it.
