Century is now importing MKE AP51 and AP53 pistols.
This is the kind of stuff that I dreamed about, but H&K wouldn’t allow us to have back in the '90’s. I couldn’t have afforded it then anyway. Best of all, Century won’t be “gunsmithing” on them since they’re pistols. I envision some SBR’s in the future.
My LGS says that they can get one of the 53 variants in. I was too weak to say no… Absolutely no use for it, outside of I just want it… especially after seeing Garand Thumbs video on this variant…
I will 100 percent be buying one of the Ap-53s. Probably a 51 too
Been 2 years, what’s the conclusion/feedback/experiences, etc? Why would we want one, or not want one? Offer anything an AR does not? Differences between HK and clone:
Probably have poor triggers like other guns in the series and I’m not a fan of short 5.56 barrels. No LRBO IIRC.
Cool? Yea.
I’d be more interested in an MP5, MP5K style gun in .40, .45, or .300 blk.
