Casio GW7900B-1 vs. GW6900BC-1

Does anyone have both the GW7900B-1 & GW6900BC-1 that could give me a breakdown/review between the two besides the strap, layout and the one having moon/tide display. read ability, comfort and durability are my concerns. I have a GW-500A that I’ve borrowed from my bro and I have to get a G-Shock of my own.

Thanks.

p.s. if there’s a a place that gives a better deal then amazon that be great.

I have the GW7900B-1 and couldn’t be happier. I wanted a beater to offset my Marathon and can say the following:

It’s a great size that never seems to get in the way, and when it bounces off something, there’s nothing to worry about. The features are more than I would ever need (now that i’m no longer on the coast, the tide meter is moot), but they’re nice to have. Personally, I love the ‘tilt to illuminate’ feature, that automatically lights up the display when I rotate my wrist to read it.

I also quite like the black on black coloration, as it just keeps things simple. The strap is great because the band keeper actually locks into place, and keep from the tail of the strap catching on anything.

Overall, I couldn’t be happier. Feels good, looks great, works better. As the BC-1…it offers most of the same features (Solar atomic as well), it’s just a matter of what you’re looking for.

Best of luck!

The GW6900BC1 features a bracelet. I think that is the one I would choose.
