I have bm m4 with carry handle,and I want to put optics on it do I,1-get stripped upper,2-get L rail and co witness or 3-cut off carry handle and/or what do I do.Do’nt run over me too bad guys. Thanks guys…

That I have not decided on.leaning to eotech.
As I see it, you have two options.
1- L-Rail. Pretty simple and straight-forward. An EOTech will probably do just fine that far forward. I am not too big on this way, but it does work, just not as well as a proper railed upper.
2- New upper. ~&100 gets you a whole new upper. Swap barrel/HG/Bolt and you are up and running.
Of course if you are not sure of your ability to swap the parts, get a competant AR Armorer to do it for you. It will certainly be cheaper than altering your existing upper. This would be my choice.
Optimal: Exchange receiver for railed, BUIS and optic. (This is my choice for some 6520 upper conversions. CMT upper receiver, Larue BUIS.)
Gooseneck or carry handle mount is serviceable, but suboptimal, and has its quirks.
