Carry handle questions

I know BCM and COLT both make the proper mil-spec carry handle - but I wonder if anyone else makes one, or are all the others commercial height?

I just received a BCM 20" A4 upper, but alas they were out of carry handles. I’ve found seveal places selling COLT handles, but I don’t know if they will match color/finish wise. Likewise, I didn’t know if there were any other options.

Any insight into this from anyone would be appreciated.

I know Rock River Arms makes one…dont know if they are in spec or not.

Does it HAVE to match? lol

I love when my lower and upper dont match.

Or any parts for that matter.

Usually black is pretty close. Its not a fashion show haha

I have a Colt carry handle for my BCM 20" upper and it looks fine.

The color match thing is so gay. Just get the Colt.

Be different. Get an A1 detachable carry handle.

That’s a good question.

Even within individual companies their black finishes can vary but usually don’t. Typically it’s not very noticeable if they do; they do a great job.
I understand why you’d want a good match. You have the opportunity to make it like you want.

Personally I’m not a carry handle guy but if I went that way I’d go for the LMT Tactical rear sight.

On that note, LMT also makes carry handles and I’d include them in the list of options.
