I want to attach a used Leupold 3x9 Vari xii to my C7 clone (A1). What mount should I be looking for? I found a Weaver branded mount on Optics Planet for $45. ARMS has an extended mount for $107. Besides the mouunt, what ring height do i need?
This will be for load development from bench.

Easiest option IMHO:
Well, I placed order this morning for a Leupold base and ring set using my .gov discount. $120 shipped. Your recommendation looks good and more affordable.
