Hey guys, my first post here. I have been looking around for some answers to this questionn and someone suggested this forum as a good source. I have this rifle
Carbon 15 M4 and I want to put some optics on it. I would love to get to a 1/3 co-witness but I read that the mount and existing sights make co-witness hard to acheive. I had decided on an EOtech 512 and was told that it sits to high and I would hate it. I would love some suggestions for some optics. Thanks for the help:D

Looks like your elevated rail is about the same height as an ADM or LaRue mount for an Aimpoint Micro, so how about checking the dimensions of an Aimpoint Micro if it was sitting on your rail with just the factory mount. I don’t KNOW if it would be the right height; just a suggestion.
Purchase an Aimpoint Micro T-1 or H-1 and use the standard Aimpoint factory installed mount that comes with it. It will co-witness.

Aimpoint Micro T1 it is…thank you for that. The Micro will help keep weight down to I bet which is a goal of mine with this weapon.
