im looking for a carbine coures in ohio or somewhere i can drive too. i want too beat the snot out of my carbine to see if the spikes nikel boron is worth the hype and price. i got 1200 rounds thru it with a fail to feed from a magazine. other than that its been g2g.
Check out Tactical Defense Institute in West Union, OH (east of Cinci). They do a great job with all of their courses.
I took Tac Rifle I from them in Aug and was really happy with the instruction.

Grant from G and R is teaching basic carbine for Larry Vickers too! I am sure he will be stopping by this thread soon and can give you info. He also does some very low cost basic stuff too. I have heard nothing but praise for him.
I 2nd that. Grant is a great instructor and hell of a nice guy. I have been attending some of his local classes and have nothing but good things to say.
A big recommendation for TDI and their Tac Rifle classes. I just took Tac Rifle II two weeks ago and learned quite a few things. It also gave me a chance to test my speed and abilities. Well worth my time.
