I built the Carbine in 1984. Was really into revolvers back then (still love 'em) and Pachmayr came out with a “Gripper” for the carbine. Put it on, and really like it. I have a Magpul MIAD on the SPR and like it too, but gonna keep the gripper on the carbine.
Control, comfort, it fits me, and does not slip under “moist” conditions.

wholly shit… i remember those things. haven’t seen one in a looooong time.
i don’t think i’ve ever even gripped one, but seeing as i’ve got and put TD BGs on all my builds, i can’t see myself liking it.
