Theoretically, a heavier buffer will delay unlocking times. This will result in a higher amount of pressure over time in the bore.
Has anyone observed higher muzzle velocities by changing to a heavier buffer?
No it won’t. The pressure curve is already way on the down side by the time the bullet passes the gas port.
The bullet is out of the barrel before the bolt unlocks.
