I have a 870 barrel with “deer rifle sight” and with these failing eyes, I need optics. My question: If I remove the rear rifle sight, is there an after-market cantilever scope mount that I can then mount on the barrel?
I don’t want a base that requires soldering & or a receiver mount, want a base to replace the rear rifle sight.
