After two locked threads and no substantive answer as to why the ads are appearing under the first post of each page, could the staff please explain what’s going on? Some admins are saying thy are looking into it. Others say it’s not a hack. Ok. So what’s going on? Is there a way to get rid of them?
This thread is not to complain about revenue seeking or other such. Information seeking only.
“STAFF” responded to it. M4C joined some large advertising group, and the ads are here to stay.
If you don’t like them (I don’t) do what everyone else is doing… Install an Ad blocker on your browser and no longer see ANY ads on the site.
I must have missed it. I generally use an iOS device so I’m gonna have to figure something out.
Use tepatalk app. No ads. Works really well IMO
We have partnered with a new site sponsor for advertising who have work with others in the industry. They are currently in the process of fine tuning the ads that appear but this will take time.
