Can I install a barrel indexing pin?

I have an unfinished AR barrel with the extension already in place. How hard would it be for me to install the barrel indexing pin? Any special tools needed? I have barrel vise jaws and a bunch of AR armorer tools, as well as experience building uppers and lowers, swapping barrels, etc.

Yes just make sure that it is not driven in at a angle. This could cant the frunt sight. When put into the upper.

You should have no problem installing an index pin.
I lube them up with a little moly grease then I use needle nose pliers and tap them in… gently, with a small wooden mallet.
