Can anyone answer this one? Feedback on the Imperial Defence M4

i have just purchased 2 of these puppies for about $1100 U.S. a piece, they seem well built and are military grade… i know that the die hards prefer U.S. built, but anyone out there fire one of these yet? and lastly, anyone know if i will have problems with accessories and upgrades?

here’s the info on them

yeesh. never thought things would be so bad we’d be ordering uppers from the UK.

never heard of them before.being that is a foreign weapon will 922R effect this without the US parts on importation to the US

not sure how it affects you fellas down south, but there are no issues up here in Canada… in fact the reason i purchased this ar15 from the U.K. was that the U.S. rifles are a real bitch to get up here, and we get bent over and rammed on duty when purchasing good old American made… I would happily put my trust in a U.S. manufactured product, especially when its my ass on the line… but alas, im now an owner of 2 (hopefully good) U.K. made ar15’s

whats a guy to do…

Oh, Canada. That explains it. I didn’t think you were in the US. Good luck with your rifles.

Down here, we can’t import foreign “assault rifles”…they have to have a number of US parts, which you will notice are referred to as “922r compliance parts”. It’s ridiculous, but we deal with it. We also don’t have access to Chinese firearms (except some shotguns) or ammunition, while ya’ll get the Norinco M14S and such.

Specs look OK, but who knows without hands on? This did catch my eye:

Parts interchangeability with the M16A2 exceeds 80%.
