“South Bay mixed-martial arts star Cain Velasquez was arrested Monday on suspicion of attempted murder after he allegedly shot at a man who was recently charged with molesting a close relative of Velasquez, according to multiple sources and court records.
Velasquez’s shots wounded the defendant’s stepfather in the encounter off Monterey Highway and Bailey Avenue on the southern edges of San Jose, multiple law-enforcement sources confirmed. That evening, Velasquez, 39, a former two-time Ultimate Fighting Championship heavyweight champion based out of San Jose, was booked into the Santa Clara County Main Jail and its being held without bail.“

I’m smelling a diminished capacity offender. Just a hunch. 43 YO, lives with mom? Still if he’s got a history, she shouldn’t be running a day care with him around. Prolly unlicensed.

Assuming stories are true, if some individual molested somebody I cared about, dead would probably be a higher priority that maxed out personal gratification, it ain’t supposed to be about me. While I personally might get greater enjoyment out of beating them to death, that’s sloppy and emotionally driven, more importantly there is greater opportunity for things to go wrong.
It would be enough for me to explain why they are about to die, and then efficiently get them on their way.
So, perv molested his son and is immediately released without bond. The DA, Jeff Rosen, is notoriously soft on predators.
So yeah, I’d likely pop the worthless POS too. Fully ready to do my time, but certainly hoping a good attorney and sympathetic jury might lessen the consequences. My take would be more, “I can’t save the whole world. But I’m at least gonna stop THIS perv from doing this again.”
