Looks like Century made the C39 into what it was supposed to be the first time.
I just picked one up yesterday for my first AK. I watched vids and read what I could.
Im about to get to the range and try it out. I’m not tech savy when it comes to AK’s but I’ll give what feedback I can for a simple bench rest shoot if people chime in on this
Proper shooting form for an AK variant rifle is from the hip pulling the trigger as fast as possible. Most rounds should hit the bench from at least 50’. Just kidding, but your range session should end with at least a wisp of smoke coming off the barrel.
Wrong stock.
So how did it go?
Went pretty well. I ran about 60 rounds thru it to get a feel for it. The range got crowded quickly so I was only able to knock this familiarization fire and confirm zero on one of my AR’s.
So far I’m happy with it, I’m going to grab a sight adjustment tool so I can zero it, tho I’ll probably put a red-dot on it shortly. Sucks being a lefty and shooting this thing.
Hahaha I bet it does. I love being “conventional” sometimes although being ambidextrous has its upsides too
Buy a Krebs ambi-safety. Problem solved.
