Buying Kydex?

For those of you who have done some of your own kydex work, knife sheaths etc, where do you purchase from? I just need a few small sheets as I want to try my hand at making a very simple sheath for this Boker tool I just picked up. The tool is GTG, the sheath, not so much…

They have kydex rivets, eyelets, presses as well. The rivet die helps make perfect eyelets at minimum cost.

I made my own press from some wood and foam I had lying around.

Enjoy!

Dennis.

I’ll check that out, thanx.

Do you ever look at the add banners at the top of every m4C page? http://www.knifekits.com/vcom/index.php?cPath=41 He is an advertiser here.

I have, but didn’t see that one. There’s a lot of banners up there. Good deal.

I just realized I have ordered from both over the years, but their sites are sorta similar so I didn’t realize it… Now I know

DIY Holsters

Best price I’ve found for small quantities and excellent customer service.

Make one, throw it away because the second one is always better

Rivet ‘dies’ are key to a nice look. The rivet length is determined by how thick the Kydex is. Use as thin as possible, thicker gets harder to hear evenly and mold well.

Those are my limited findings.
