BUYER BEWARE - www.riflesupply.com

BUYER BEWARE: “Rifle Supply” (www.riflesupply.com) sells used parts as new. I ordered six spare G48/43X OEM mag catches, paid their $15.51 shipping (!) and then proceeded to receive six mag catches that were obviously used and removed from existing pistols by someone who had no idea how to remove them with anything shy of what appears to be a Dremel tool. I contacted Rifle Supply and received a lukewarm response that simply said “oh, sorry, we found six that aren’t as damaged if you want to swap”. I indicated that yes, I’d like the less damaged ones only to have them go silent. So, if you order parts from www.riflesupply.com, this is what I received and may be indicative of what you are in for:

Those used parts should be sent back to the less than honest business requesting a full refund. The credit card dispute would be an easy way to get your money back if the business does not provide a full refund.

Tango Down sells a special tool for removing Glock mag catches without scratching them up, apparently Rifle Supply.com needs to invest into that tool lol.

I wouldn’t want those either.

A couple months ago I purchased a Midwest Industries riser from Primary Arms. Threads in the riser had been stripped. I figured it was a return from some dork that stripped the threads without saying anything when returning it. I consider Primary Arms a top shelf vendor. It happens.

Is there a reason a person would purchase something like this anywhere but Glock Store?

I mean we are talking about non regulated parts that are a couple dollars. How much can you possibly save buying at XYZ.com?

THIS all day long.

Its called a dental pick and something I’ve had in my gun cleaning box before Glock existed.

Yeah, I’m not real adventurous with the suppliers I frequent.

When comes to small parts I typically add a few things in on my larger orders, 10-20 here and there, an occasional 40-50, bump up the price to free shipping, that sort of thing.

Me neither. And I will never understand it. Hey let’s buy these Trijicon ACOGs from some place we never heard of because they are $12 CHEAPER than the known and established guys.

Even the guys like Buds Gun Shop which are internet famous for advertising things they NEVER had in stock, accepting your payment and then notifying you the item is on back order and then IF/WHEN they have enough orders to justify the purchase MIGHT finally deliver 9 months from now…but hey…$8 cheaper than the guys who definitely have them in stock NOW. And people STILL order from them.

Even worse are the guys who are ordering stuff like KAC scope mounts for $300 below known dealer prices and then have the nerve to be upset when a box full of China counterfeits show up. But hey, I found a guy selling NIB “100% Genuine” Rolex GMT Oysters with ceramic coke bezels for $750…KILLER DEAL…I’m gonna probably order 6 and then sell the other ones online. Anyone heard of ShadyWatchDude.com?
