Bushmaster Firearms has recently announced the ACR or Adaptive Combat Rifle for civilian purchase. Due to the overwhelming success, Bushmaster has outsourced production to SaangYong in South Korea. SaangYong is a vehicle manufacturer with no previous weapon experience. Kim Sung Yi, President of SaangYong stated that he is very excited to work with such a reputable company known for quality. It remains to be seen what this endevor will bring.
