Does this rifle come with both barrels for 5.56 and 6.8SPC?
I might have found one for 1700 bucks. Is that a deal? or could it be a sham?
Is it really that much better then a 1700 dollar AR15? it really doesn’t look like you can customize it at all.
Just curious because that deal might go fast. Thanks for any help you can give.

1 - Only comes with 1 barrel
2 - $1700 is a good deal for a basic model. Great deal for an enhanced version
3 - It is better and worse than an AR15 depending on your personal needs.
4 - You can play Barbie more with an AR15. The ACR is still very new

It is not very activity as other forums, but there are not many ACR owners out there - yet.
ETA: there is a recall on the ACR that requires the rifle to be sent back to Bushmaster. I would verify if this rifle has been fixed yet.

There’s been a lot of discussion on this site about the rifle. I suggest doing a search using the Google method. Click on the yellow “Search” button between “Calendar” and “FAQ” up top.
Also, what is it that you’re wanting to “customize”?
The skinny on this rig is that most folks will tell you that Bushmaster f’d up a good Magpul design. Some reviews have put the ACR ahead of the scar, but nearly everyone will tell you to buy the scar. I may own one, but not yet. If you want to customize, spend your hard-earned money on bravo company, colt, daniel defense, LMT or Larue.
