Burris XTR 2 1-5?

I was wondering if anyone has any knowledge on the Burris XTR 2. 1-5?
I’ m back in the market for a variable , I’ve had the VXR 1.25/4 and liked it.

Saw this new Burris as well as the Bushnell 1-6.
I use all my crap on duty/ SWAT and I work in an urban a.o.
I have 8 rifles with Aimpoints, and the SRS. Just thinking on getting 2 variables for 2 16 inch KAC rifles.

Did the search thing.
Thanks in advance

The Burris XTR I looked at was 1.5-8x28.
The deal breaker for me is the weight. Just under 2 pounds.
Looking hard at the Weaver tactical series 1-5x24 FFP.

I’ve been watching these since SHOT. They look promising. But I don’t think anyone has seen one outside of the SHOT Show, yet. There’s been somewhat more discussion of the series at Sniper’s Hide, but again, no reviews outside of SHOT impressions. Here’s the Burris site with specs:

The 1-5x is listed as 21.1 ounces, and the 1.5-8x at 23.5 ounces, which are both very reasonable weights if the durability is there. Not light, but lighter than most quality options other than the Swarovski. Compare the Vortex Razor 1-6x at 25.2 oz, for instance. Retail price of the 1-5x looks like $799 or so (based on listings at SWFA and Opticsplanet) which again seems reasonable for the claimed feature set and ruggedness.
