I searched this forum and couldn’t find anything on the Burris AR-332 Prism Sight. It looks like an interesting sight. Does anyone have any experience with it? The link is below.
It seems to work better if you go out onto Google or another search engine, type in the subject matter and then add ‘m4carbine.net’. Doing so, I found these two threads:

It seems that Burris hit a stinker on this one. I had considered one of these a while ago for an SBR build, but the lack-luster reviews adied in my decision to pass. Unless things have changed - I’d still take a pass…
Avoid. How much are you willing to spend? Is this optic to be used for fun or is it intended for something more serious?
This will just be for range use. I was looking for something in the $300 to $400 range that combined a RDS with magnification qualities. Thanks for all of the replies.
You could go for a used Aimpoint and save for a magnifier, or go for a Vortex SPARC, or StrikeFire, which both come with one…
If you’re a fan of Burris, consider their new 1-4x24 LRS. It uses a similar reticle as the 332 and can be had for $250.00 to $300.00.
The AR332 reticle is too small to be useful. If you are on a really tight budget Primary Arms was selling a 4X version of this optic with an “Acog”-like ranging reticle about a year ago. If you are going for Burris, get the XTR-14, 1-4X, it has a useable reticle.
Complete POS. The glass is shitty and the reticle sucks. At close range it’s hard to pic up a target quickly and the view is very cluttered.
IMHO, there is no “value” in optics. You get what you pay for. In this case however, this sight is overpriced.
Have one sitting on a shelf. Can’t pick up targets under 50 yards very fast and without closing one eye. Go with the Aimpoint T1
Agree on the reticle. I’ve never handled one so I can’t comment on the glass. The reticle seems very busy and is not efficient for what it is supposed to do. The gradiations still seem to require calculation to range so, with the exception of the BDC dots, one might as well have a standard mil-dot scope and learn to use it.
I have an ELCAN Specter OS3 which is similar to the Burris in form but the reticle is more of a modified Russian reticle: ranging marks on the lower left of the field and BDC marks on the lower vertical stadia. Also has heavy lines in each of the quadrants pointing to the crosshair point to lead the eye to the target.
What do you think of one of these for a M&P22?
I want something with a big of magnification but that take a bit of abuse.
