Class lll Hitch Install
Wouldn’t you love to see how the trip went, reckon he
ended up doin’ some off roadin’ somewhere. Check the ‘hills’
in the background.

She’s hitched up and ready to roll!! Amazin’ how the extra weight smoothes out
the ride. Needed to air up the rear tires a bit ('bout 160 psi).

Added some heavy-duty chain for extra support on the tailgate, (note the
'Heavy-Duty ‘S’ hooks to attach the chain) Also paid-up for some BIG 5/16
sheet metal screws to attach the frame to the tailgate.
Yep, probably overkill, but didn’t want the possibility of having an accident.

Most of the time was spent on the front porch whittling down that MASSIVE 4x4
to fit precisely into the ball mount receiver. Note: The 14’x14’ piece of 3/8’
plywood on the underside of the tailgate to distribute the load more evenly.
‘YOU CAN’T BE TOO SAFE, YOU’ALL !!’.

B’gosh it costs a little more, but jeez, you just can’t be too safe.

Damn crazy fools:eek:

that cant be for ceral!

looks like an elephant strapped to a bicycle

That is insanely dangerous.

Wow, that is awesome. Post that on Failblog.org!

Good grief! I wouldn’t use that type of setup to move the thing across a parking lot.

White trash engineering!

I’m thinkin’ we need a Budweiser " real men of genius " commerical here.

When I first saw that I was thinking “Gee I see crap like that all the time from the ‘mountain dwellers’ here in Colorado.”

Vindication was sweet when I saw the Utah license plate.

Yeah those “hills” in the background no doubt are the flipping Rocky Mountains!

Now that is funny.

I have a 91 S-10 Blazer that I use for a Hunting vehicle. Mine has overloads on it and it will pull a boat without any problems.
But I bet the front end would seem a little light and have a tendency to wander across the yellow lines at highway speeds with this kind of a load on it.

Oh come on now guys. just put a camo paint job on it, and you are good to go:cool:
