Looks like that to me, too.
Then, the RE should ride over the top on the “fat” part of the Retainer, right up to the skinny pin part that actually retains the Buffer.

Does Bravo make a buffer tube??? If so, I haven’t been able to find one… well not with their new website… Wait, found it on that BravoUsa site. So nevermind.
So while installing the new retainer: I put the retainer/spring in then tighten the buffer tube one more thread? Correct?
Screw it in until as far as it will go without binding on the small diameter of the pin or prevent the upper from closing.
DPMS replied, said the tube might have failed at that retaining point. Said they’d replace it if I had bought it form them. Ha!
I’m just going to do what you said, Tweak, and push it in another thread or two. Unless the guy that installed the Magpul ASAP will replace it. Taking it to him this afternoon to let him see what a small mistake caused.
Buy an LMT tube and be done with it. The LMT tubes are the best I have encountered as of yet.
You got a supplier? A quick search hasn’t yielded any results. Nevermind…
Heck, I may just go ahead and purchase a complete LMT lower…
