Could not find any 9MM in town so broke down and bought some Brown Bear 115grain and Hungarian 124grain. Anybody shot this stuff and any feedback?
I have fired Brown Bear 9mm through my CZ-75. It ran just fine through the CZ but it does seem dirty. I found it fairly similiar to wolf ammunition. As long as you clean your pistol you should be just fine.
I did fired a bunch of Brown Bear at a 3 day Carbine/Pistol class and had a couple FTF. One round I could not recover and another had a nice big dent in the primer from the striker. Roughly 2 failures in approx 500-600 rounds. If that is acceptable to you for training ammo, good-to-go. In retrospect, it was simply more oportunity for malfunction drills.
