Bravo Zulu to Spike's Tactical and BDM

The story begins Monday after work. I had the Spikes Tactical ST 22 out for the first time in several months to play with at my indoor range. I was a couple mags into my attempts at position work when I had a double feed about half way through a mag. I attempted to clear the stoppage and ended up with another double feed. Great a magazine problem. I hit the mag release and stripped the mag which puked the remaining 10-15 rounds into the mag well. I examined the mag and found the left side feed lip had broken. No more than a minor frustration, really, since I had another dozen mags with me. The mag was a BDM with a Spike’s Tactical stamp on the opposite flat. I figure the mag is a a couple of years old maybe Spike’s or BDM would sell me a replacement at discount. I dropped an E mail to both Spike’s and BDM and prepared to wait. When I got home Tuesday evening I had an Email from Angela at Spike’s saying that BDM would replace the mag and that she was forwarding my Email to them. In the middle of the inbox is a email from Max at BDM saying he would be shipping a replacement out immediately and including an apology for the mag problem. Well I roll into the house this evening and low and behold an express mail box with my name and address on it and a Max at BDM return address was waiting for me with a brand new 26 round BDM mag and a no charge invoice.

Now that is service I send an Email Monday after COB and I have a no charge replacement at the house in Tidewater VA with the Friday mail. No questions asked and no request for the damaged mag to be returned. Bravo Zulu Max and Angela. Bravo Zulu
